“200 Cartas” is a romantic comedy that follows a Nuyorican artist as he writes letters to 200 different women, trying to track down the love of his life in the island of Puerto Rico.
It is also a unique case of an independent movie behaving like a big Hollywood studio film in regards to product integration. Never to be confused with traditional product placement, the story allowed us to identify and secure the presence of notable international and local brands, such as Bacardi, Goya, Banco Popular and Diageo. Each brand was carefully integrated within the film, making their presence as natural as they are in real life. We also made sure to provide each brand with additional tailor-made promotional experiences around the film’s different properties of promotion, including editorial content, social media, and other innovative avenues.
